Etiquette & Cancellations

Booking Your Appointment

 

Please call (289) 221-3045, book online or email us at Crystalclear.ancientthaimassage@gmail.com to reserve your appointment. A valid credit card number will be requested during booking to confirm the reservation.

 

 

To ensure availability and best appointment times, we advise booking 2-3 weeks in advance. We are more than happy to accommodate last minute bookings when possible!

 

Please inform us of any relevant health conditions when booking, and completing the intake form, so that our practitioners can tailor the experience to your needs and advise for any continued care. Please also advise if you plan to book for a friend or partner.

Any guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and have them sign the health questionnaire.

 

What to Wear

All articles of clothing (loose fitting pants, shirt, slippers) will be provided for you upon arrival. If you prefer to bring your own, please make sure they are loose and comfortable. If you are joining us for a Thai Aroma Oil Massage or Swedish, you will be professionally draped at all times.

 

You may bring your belongings with you into the massage room however we suggest leaving all valuables at home. Crystal Clear Ancient Thai Massage is not responsible for items lost or damaged on site.

 

On Arrival

 

If this is your first visit please arrive 15-20 minutes early for your appointment to fill in a Health Questionnaire. This information must be detailed and accurate, and is required by law for RMT services. We continue this practice for anyone visiting our Practitioners. If you are a returning guest, please advise us if there are any changes  in your health information. All health information collected is confidential.

We provide a full 60, 90, 120 and 180 minute massage. An extra 10 minutes is added to your default booking times to allow for changing. In the interest of our guests if you arrive late your massage will still end at the scheduled time for the full rate applicable.

We kindly ask that you turn off your mobile, or place it on silent as to not disrupt the tranquility of treatments for yourself or other guests.

 

Collection of Health Information

We collect your health information so we can tailor each experience to our guests' specific needs, as well as provide a healthy and safe environment for guests and staff. It is important we are aware of medical issues and allergies in order to provide appropriate treatments and products. The Health Questionnaire information will be referenced every visit for continuity of care. Please advise us on any changes to your medical status during booking or upon arrival. The Health Questionnaire is required for all clients regardless of age. All health information collected is confidential.

Cancellations - Single Bookings

You may cancel your appointment or reschedule without charge up to 24 hours preceding your appointment.  In accordance with our Cancellation Policies we have a mandatory Credit Card number required on file to hold all the bookings.  You will be charged 50% if the booking is cancelled within the 24 hour period and 100% if the booking is cancelled on the same day as the scheduled service. This 100% cancellation fee applies to same day bookings.

 

Cancellations - Couples

Due to the high volume of requests for this service and the need for extra staff availability, we have a mandatory Credit Card number required on file to hold the booking.  Any cancellation within 48 hours will incur a 50% charge to the Credit Card and 100% will be charged for cancellations on the day of service.

 

Cancellations - Group Bookings

Extra staff are made available to facilitate bookings of 3 or more guests at the same time. We have a mandatory Credit Card number required on file to hold the booking. You will be charged 25% if cancelled within 72 hours, 50% if cancelled within 48 hours and 100% if cancelled within 24 hours of the booking.

Illness

We kindly ask that you do not come for your massage if you are sick. For unexpected illnesses, we are happy to reschedule the appointment with a valid medical note.

Receipts

If your healthcare insurance covers treatments by Registered Massage Therapists, a receipt will be provided. Please note your need for a receipt at booking.

​

Gift Certificates Gratuities

Gift certificates are available for purchase. Gift certificates are non-refundable and valid for 2 years. Please advise us of the gift certificate upon booking, and present it before treatment.

​Gratuities
At your discretion, gratuities are accepted and appreciated by staff. Gratuities can be added to card payments, or left in cash with envelopes provided at the desk. Gratuities are not included with RMT services and cannot be claimed.
